About Me
Currently: I recently finished my Sophomore year in high school, Our school has been closed and we've been in remote learning all year so I'm really looking forward to starting my Junior year in person in the fall !!
Horses: They have been my passion from a young age. I started riding at age 7 by participating in horse camps riding Western. Around age 8, I started taking one-on-one lessons with a trainer riding English I've been taking weekly lessons with her ever since and I currently lease one of her horses. Over the past years, I've had the opportunity to ride many different horses from lazy ponies to energetic horses, and I've shared my passion of horses by volunteering at One Step Closer Equine Therapy in Morgan Hill with children who have disabilities. Horses are a huge part of my life.
Competitions: I've been competing in all three rings; Equitation, Hunters, and Jumpers for the past 3 years in both schooling and rated shows throughout California: at Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, Woodside, and Rancho Murrieta. This past fall, I joined Triple Bar Stable's IEA team. I was able to compete in two shows before our county shut down due to Covid and the coach made the decision to end the season early. Luckily, I was able to compete with my trainer at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in October, 2020 and at the Paso Robles Horse Park this May. And I hope to be competing in more shows this summer.
